Making stuff - flowers on a well

I decided to make a bunch of flowers out of different types of paper, wire and glue.  I wanted to place them in different environments just to see how they would look.  In these images you can see them growing out of a man made well.
I have always been really into color combinations.  I love playing with different values and tones and combining that with a complimentary color to see what type of funky flower I could come up with.

Making Stuff - desert flowers

Here are flowers I created in a desert environment.  I think they work best here, they seem to go along with the succulent "look".
They are made of different types of paper, glue and wire.  I thought it'd be interesting to see how real or pretend they look growing in their habitat.
I believe there is a theory that connects everything that lives under water to every living plant type thing that lives in the desert.  They all have the same aesthetic.  Almost like the desert was once covered in water, so it is possible cacti were once coral, etc...

Making Stuff- Making flowers grow in the forest

Here are some flowers I created out of paper, wire and tape.  I wanted to experiment and put them in a natural environment.  I wanted to make the flowers look like they were growing in a "fairy tale land".  I enjoy mixing man-made materials with natural materials.
