Production Designing - "For Who I Am"

Here's a short I production designed about a woman who is trapped in her relationship and the events that take place during her journey.  There were 3 locations during this shoot.

This location was the photo studio:
I dressed with decor that was my own, the owners and things I purchased specifically for the shoot.  There was a lot of rearranging that happened to make the space look the way it does.
This is a model for one of the scenes that take place on the backdrop I purchased and rigged up.  I just really liked the photo.

We projected an image throughout the studio onto the leads face and body as she approached her husbands work space.

The blue bookshelf was my favorite because I got to arrange it with vintage cameras and cool, small photographic items.

Here's the seamless backdrop I put up and added the chair for the scene.

This is the main actors work area in his photo studio.  I arranged the objects on the table very meticulously, I wanted symmetry and balance.

This was the second location.  It was held at a bar, I spent most of the day rearranging tables and chairs and lighting candles.

This is the third location.   It was a beautiful home that luckily had a lot of decor to work with.  I did some rearranging and editing of pieces on the shelves.

The leading lady was an interior designer so I arranged her "workspace" in the same fashion I had done her husbands desk in his studio.

I just really love this image.  It reminds me of Sophia Coppola's movie "Somewhere".

Production Designing - "Gambler"

This is one of two sets I designed for the short "Gambler".  It's a story of a young couple who take their chances on a bet.  The bar itself was not set up the way I thought a bar should look so I spent most of my time rearranging bottles, glasses and chairs to give it the look I wanted.  I thought of adding some color through drinks at the bar and adding lights behind the bar.

Decorating - "A Home For The Holidays"

Here are some photos from a special on CBS.  It was a different type of decorating than what I am used to, a bit more minimal and much more festive.  It was great to see all the different musicians with their bands.  I helped to set the stage in between acts, I worked with the stage hands and art director on this project.
Justin Beibers concert was  held at a different location than the rest of the show.  It was in a church, which helped with the ambiance since there was so much stained glass.  We added the seasonal decor.
